NAHO will be hosting a reunion banquet for National Aboriginal Role Models.

OTTAWA, ON – It is the 25th anniversary of the National Aboriginal Role Model Program and the 6th anniversary of it being hosted by the National Aboriginal Health Organization (NAHO).

Coinciding with the NAHO national conference, the National Aboriginal Role Model Program will be hosting a reunion banquet on the evening of Tuesday November 24, 2009 in Ottawa, Ontario at the Crowne Plaza hotel from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. to celebrate the accomplishments of the National Aboriginal Role Models.

The National Aboriginal Role Model Program celebrates the accomplishments of First Nations, Inuit and Métis youth aged 13 to 30. The role models are recognized for their innovation, achievement and leadership. Throughout the year, they will visit First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities to share their stories with other Aboriginal youth. “Lead Your Way!” the program’s message, inspires Aboriginal youth to strive to reach their goals.
